Moab Entrada Natural Disappointment.
I have been using Moab Entrada Natural for years. Today I was in the process of finishing to print a batch of pictures for a book. I had printed some yesterday until I ran out of paper. Today a new box of Entrada Natural was delivered and I resumed printing. To my disappointment the base colour of the paper in the new box is much creamier than the paper from the previous box. I don’t mean a slight nuance that needs careful side-to-side comparison under a strong light. No, the kind of obvious one immediately notices when going from page to page. In a word: bad.
This of course damages my confidence in that paper. I am afraid I will sound a lot like Colin Iago looking for a new paper.
On the other hand, I recall it has always be like that with photo paper. Variations between batches made it wise to buy in bulk. Oh, well, might be life.
